TRAVEL LAW SEMINAR

"THE RIGHTS AND LIABILITIES OF THE HOLIDAY MAKERS AND HOLIDAY PROVIDERS"

Please be informed that MATTA Terengganu Chapter is organizing a TRAVEL LAW SEMINAR for members in Terengganu, Kelantan and Pahang on Saturday 7 Aug 2010 in Kuala Terengganu to train, educate and upgrade members to be better equipped and aware of the rights of the holiday makers and the holiday providers.

With the changing travel requirements and needs of the consumers, as well as the professional way of managing a travel and tourism business these days, in order to stay relevant, competitive, and to meet the needs of the customers, the need for the Travel and Tourism Industry players to really understand their rights and the consumers' rights is becoming glaringly obvious.  Many complaints received of late are stemmed from this ignorance and the travel agencies' lack of knowledge to handle and avoid such complaints in the first place.

With this need in mind, MATTA is organizing a Travel Law Seminar to train, educate and upgrade the travel agencies -the owners and staff- so that they will be better equipped and aware of the proper legal procedures that may affect their business.

Seminar Leader

This Travel Law Seminar will be conducted by Pn. Nuraisyah Chua Abdullah, a lecturer with the Faculty of Law, University Technology MARA, who has studied in depth on this subject matter and had written a book on it. The Seminar will be conducted in Bahasa Malaysia
