In conjunction with Visit Beautiful Terengganu 2017, MATTA together with Terengganu State Tourism Department organised a Domestic FAM Trip to Tasik Kenyir and Kuala Terengganu from the 27th to 29th of July 2017. Lake Kenyir boasts of rich biodiversity of marine life, flora and fauna. As such part of the itinerary included stops at the Kenyir Elephant Conservation Village and the Bewah Caves near Kenyir Lake. Participants were also treated to a visit at recreational park Taman Orkid in Kuala Terengganu.
18 MATTA members, one representative each from the media and MATTA Secretariat participated in the trip.
A Familiarisation Trip (FAM) is one of MATTA initiatives organised for Members to create more business opportunities, including building Members engagement for better working environment.
