Malaysian Association of Tour and Travel Agents (MATTA), the national body for tour and travel agents in Malaysia is looking for a dynamic and qualified individual for the following position:
COMMUNICATIONS EXECUTIVE (WRITER)
Responsibilities:

To write (press releases, speeches, media statement, translations, etc)

To manage media inquiries and interview requests
-
Able to independently do research and preliminary fact finding
-
To monitor media coverage of the company and related industries (newspaper and online media)
-
To monitor social media channel
-
To handle other duties from time to time
Requirements:

Candidate must possess at least Diploma or Degree in Mass Communication/Journalism/Public Relation or related discipline.

Minimum 3 years hands-on related working experience, especially in writing skills.

Knowledge and experience in the travel and tour industry is an added advantage.

Have excellent grasp of written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia. Proficiency in Mandarin is an added advantage.

Candidate must be an independent person with high degree of maturity, integrity and initiative.

Result oriented, highly organised with good attention to detail and follow-through.
