Great news – Effective 4 June 2018, the Disaster Management Course fees will be subsidies to qualified members by The Human Resources Development Fund (HRDF).
ABOUT THE COURSE
This Disaster Management Course is designed for senior management staff. The course will be delivered by experts from Bournemouth University Disaster Management Centre (BUDMC), allowing Malaysians to participate in this world-class programme locally.
Participants will receive a BUDMC "Certificate of Completion".
The Course will cover rapid and slow onset of Natural Disasters, Human made Disasters and Complex Emergencies. Other areas to be covered include:
Risk Reduction and Sustainable Recovery
Risk Analysis, Hazards and Vulnerabilities
Early Warning Systems and Evacuation
Project Development and Management
Understanding core systems for Disaster Response
Understanding Local issues and systems
Understanding National Disaster Management Planning
WHO SHOULD ATTEND
Senior managers and directors who are conversant in English as they are required to discuss tactical and strategic issues. Participants are expected to contribute their views, share experiences and brainstorm ideas.

Course fees are subsidies by HRDF*.
*Only members registered with and contributing to HRDF are qualified.
