PENANG, 5 July 2017: Consumers can expect specialized arrangements and deals to different countries for their year-end holidays at MATTA Fair Penang this October 2017.
MATTA’s offerings are diverse with affordable holiday packages and tickets to local and international destinations by licensed travel agents. Attractive holiday destinations to Eastern and Western Europe and exotic countries such as Egypt, Morocco, Turkey and escorted tours to North and South America will be available at the Fair.
Consumers may also have the opportunity to book for Northern Lights tour which offers spectacular natural phenomenon in Iceland. Memorable diving and cruise holiday deals will also be available for booking.
MATTA visitors would also be able to participate in the Buyers’ Contest, whereby with every purchase of RM200 during the event gives them a chance to win attractive prizes. Also this year’s Buyers’ Contest will employ an automated system making it easier and faster for consumers to participate
With up to 70% of booths taken up, MATTA believes the support by participating companies and travel agencies will extend the business opportunities for its members and to meet the demand of the consumers in Penang and in the Northern States.
After a positive response of 15,450 recorded visitors and sales turnover at RM15 million from the last fair, MATTA Fair Penang 2017 is expected to achieve its target of RM17 million in sales with its value-for-money domestic and international packages.
MATTA Fair Penang 2017, to be held from 13 - 15 October 2017, at Straits Quay Convention Centre, Penang, is open from 10am to 9pm and admission is free.
